Day out in the Goyt Valley.

The whole school took a trip to the beautiful Goyt Valley to experience lots of different activities on and off the water.

The day started with Mr & Mrs Grimshaw telling the story of Errwood Hall and what life was like in the 1900’s.Peak Park Ranger Andy helped year 6 plant oak trees  in the most beautiful location.after which they collected water from the stream .Each year 6 said a prayer  which was very emotional. After  a short walk to the sailing club everyone had the opportunity to ride on the powerboat, learn to cast a line with Errwood Fly Fishermen, make flies and eat freshly caught trout from the BBQ.WOW ! What  a great day!
