Summer Term @ Pott Shrigley Church School - The Big Day is Here!

Let us tell you all about a wonderful day - The Pott Shrigley Church School Rose Queen Festival. The sun managed to make its appearance throughout the day. It started with a highight of comedy where a small steam train was organised to take the Rose Queen Family across to the village green from the school playground. We all had great fun travelling in style - sitting on hey bales. 

There were lots of lovely stalls at the festival this year, and one that went down particularly well with adults and children of all ages was the bath bomb stall. The bath bombs had lovely surprises in, including a unicorn. Other stalls to browse around were a tombola, hair braiding, make your own slime, BodyShop and a teddy tombola.

Surprisingly, class 2 pulled off their maypole dance and manged to not get tangled up in knots!! 

It was lovely for the Rose Queen from last year to hand over to her new Rose Queen Family this year. A very nice prayer was said for us.
